How this report works
Quick movers compare consecutive scheduled reports. Minimum intervals are 3 minutes from 09:30–10:30, 10 minutes from 10:30–15:00, and 5 minutes from 15:00–16:00 Eastern. Each report uses the first available scan after its interval; actual gaps can be longer when the scanner runs less frequently. Steady movers rank cumulative price movement from the exact 09:35 scan; streaks describe consecutive sampled moves, not continuous market movement. Each list shows up to two rising and two falling symbols, excluding SPX and QQQ. From 10:30–16:00 ET, quick movers must change at least +0.50% or −0.50% in price over the comparison interval. Before 10:30, no minimum applies. Steady movers are unchanged.
Net % = (current − reference) / |reference| × 100. Percentages are hidden if the reference is zero or less than 1% of the current magnitude. Sign changes are shown explicitly. Net is the scanner’s estimate and does not establish dealer positioning or future direction.
Checks every five seconds while this page is open. Sound, if enabled, plays once per scheduled report. The page retains the last display on a connection error and labels it accordingly. No yesterday baseline is carried forward.
